The Crusty Loaf
Martin Cooper was born in Liverpool in 1958 and studied at the Laird School of Art in Birkenhead, followed by three years at Sheffield College of Art where he obtained a first class honours degree in Fine Arts.
Between 1980 and 1989 Martin was a member of Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark as keyboard player and saxophonist, rejoining in 2007 when the band reformed.
Aside from music, Martin devotes as much time as he can to his calm and harmonious still life painting. He has exhibited widely both in the UK and overseas.
